c-day
Wondering what
"C-day"
Refers to?
Well
This morning our
Very precious
16 day old son
Had his
Very painful
"C" appointment
Now do you get it?
They don't do it in the hospital
Here anymore
If they do, not very often
As it is now considered
"Cosmetic"
To want your male child's foreskin
Removed
These days
You take him home
Call an Urologist
Make an appointment
Pay them CASH
And they do it in their office
Takes all of 5 minutes
Then they come home
And scream
As the freezing
Wears off
:(
I'm terrified
To change his diaper
In case I hurt him
As they don't bandage them now
Either
They just put a heaping clump
Of Vaseline
On his little thang
Poor little guy
I know
I know
We did make the decision
But it doesn't mean
I still can't feel bad
For putting him through this

Same thing here! But I do believe that the one Dr. that does will do it before you leave the hospital if you slip him a hundred bucks! But before he gets there they try like heck to convince you not to do it.
Hope he is feeling better and hope you are to ;)
Wow, that sounds like a lot of work for new parents to get the C done elsewhere. I wonder if the urogoligists pushed to have it that way cuz they were feeling left out! Sounds lame to me. Get it done in the hospital while you are recuperating! Poor baby.
Hang in there Bonn. I am sure you will be gentle enough with your little guy.

Wow, I am surprised that they consider that costmetic. From what I understand, it's much cleaner and more sanitary LOL. Sounds like reason enough to do it to me!
